Kuninda has long been known as the doorstep into Okinawa for international visitors, particularly envoys from China. Staying in guest houses located on the present site of OKINAWA NaHaNa HOTEL & SPA, this location played an important role in the diplomacy of the Ryukyu Dynasty.
